The children’s home Caritas Felices del Niño Jesús de Praga, under the direction of the association Uniendo Corazones (AUC), was founded in 2000 thanks to the vocation of service of Rita de Bandin, affectionately known as “Mamá Rita.”
Inspired by Christian values and love for the Child Jesus, she dedicated her life to alleviating suffering, protecting the most vulnerable girls, and restoring their dreams by providing them with care, education, and an environment based on respect, faith, and solidarity.
Today, her legacy continues under the direction of her daughter, maintaining the commitment to serve with responsibility and hope.

Our mission is to welcome and protect girls who have suffered abuse within their own family environment, providing them with safety, specialized care, and the support they need for their recovery.
We work to strengthen their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual recovery, helping them rebuild their confidence and discover new life opportunities.
We receive girls through agreements with families living in extreme poverty or facing complex situations, such as addiction problems, deprivation of liberty, or psychological abuse, among other vulnerabilities.
However, the resources we receive are not always consistent or sufficient to cover all their needs. That is why your support is essential to continue providing them with care, protection, and the hope they deserve.
